What kind of vehicles can I rent at CoolQuad?
We offer quads and buggies only.
We don’t rent scooters, mopeds or motorcycles – they are not suitable for off-road use and not allowed on dirt tracks.
Which vehicle should I choose?
It depends on where you want to go.
Smaller vehicles (like the Segway, Sniper FX400 or Kymco 450) can be used on limited routes, while the Polaris Ranger, Polaris RZR and Kymco 700 are powerful enough for all permitted areas, including Blue Lagoon and Bath of Aphrodite.
All vehicles are equipped with real-time GPS tracking – if a vehicle enters a restricted zone, we receive an instant alert.
What are the rental requirements?
A valid driving license is required (a clear photo is enough; the physical card doesn’t have to be with you).
You’ll sign a rental agreement, and one copy stays with you.
Payment can be made in cash or by card.
The deposit can be paid by card or in cash and is fully refundable upon safe return of the vehicle.
How much does it cost?
We only offer daily rental rates – there are no half-day or hourly prices.
If you keep the vehicle overnight, it counts as a 24-hour rental with a slightly higher deposit.

Banana Car Rental customers receive discounted rates when renting multiple vehicles.
When do I need to return the vehicle?
All vehicles must be returned by 18:30 unless rented for 24 hours, in which case you can keep it until the same time the next day.
Do I need to refuel before returning?
Yes. Each vehicle is delivered with a full tank, and we kindly ask you to return it fully refueled.
Use 95-octane petrol – fuel attendants are always happy to help.
Fuel costs are not included in the rental price.
What happens if I drive into a restricted area?
All vehicles have active GPS tracking.
If you enter a restricted area (for example Blue Lagoon with a non-permitted vehicle), we get an alert.
If we can’t reach you by phone, the system may temporarily disable the engine until you turn back.
Once you’re back on the approved route, we remotely reactivate it.
Are there age restrictions?
Yes. Children under 8 years old are not allowed in the vehicles for safety reasons.
Noise levels, seat belt fit and protective eyewear make it unsuitable for small children.
What are the speed limits in Cyprus?
In town: 50–65 km/h
Outside town: up to 85 km/h
Highway: 100 km/h
Traffic cameras and police check major intersections. Running a red light or speeding can result in fines up to €300.
Can I drive on the highway?
No.
Quads, buggies, scooters, bicycles and e-scooters are strictly forbidden on highways.
Fines can reach €5000 and police may take photos or report the offense immediately.
Do you offer other services?
Yes!
Car rentals: fleet of 36 vehicles, minimum rental 3 days.
Jeep Safari tours: join our 4×4 partner convoy with English or Hungarian guide.
Excursions: seasonal trips (by boat or land) and full-day “all-in” tours including visits to the Turkish side.
Accommodation: villas with pools and cozy apartments available on request.

You can secure your vehicle with just a €50 booking fee online or in person.
The remaining balance and deposit are paid on site.
The website always shows the vehicles available for the selected date.
What if the vehicle gets dusty or muddy?
No problem!
Cleaning is included in the rental price – a bit of dust just proves you had a great adventure! 🌴
